ABOUT US

Forged by the land, raised by the sea.
TZ Knives was born where the ocean meets the desert, on the salt-stained decks and sun-bleached shores of Southern California. It’s a place defined by contrast: grit and grace, Baja dust and Pacific calm, raw fish and refined craft. That’s where our blades come from, where Japanese style meets Western tradition.
Each knife carries that duality in its steel. Built for those who chase clarity, in their craft, their kitchen, and their life by the water.
Our founder, Cameron Toor, began his blade-making journey designing knives for Military and outdoorsmen who depended on them in unforgiving conditions. That pursuit of performance became our foundation. When he turned his attention to the kitchen, he brought the same relentless standards, merging the durability of field blades with the precision of Japanese culinary design.
The result is Titan Zeus Knives. Hard enough for the field. Corrosion-proof for the sea. Elegant enough for the modern kitchen. Every edge is ground by hand, every handle shaped for balance, every detail tested against salt, time, and use.
We believe a knife should tell a story, of where it’s been, what it’s built for, and who it belongs to. Ours are made for the watermen, the home chefs, and the collectors who feel the pull of the Pacific, whether they chase tuna at dawn or host dinner with the windows open to the surf.
From deck to dining, TZ Knives are ready for both, tools of performance, symbols of simplicity, and reflections of life lived close to the coast.
Where the coast meets the kitchen is where you find TZ.
